Heart & Soul Case Sign-Ups

Get excited for our 7th annual Heart & Soul Case on February 24th from 7 PM to 9 PM!UCSB BSU’s Heart & Soul Case is the place for Black students to share their Business, Arts, or Live Expressions, aimed at embracing and celebrating the beauty and history of the Black community.Interested in performing at this year's Heart & Soul Case or know anyone that might like to perform? Second Winter Quarter GBM - Vision Boards

Come to Santa Rosa Lounge on January 24th at 5 PM for VISION BOARDS! Join us as we envision and manifest our future in 10 years through the creative outlet of vision boards. This is an event of reflection, imagination, and aspiration. We truly hope to see you all there.

OBSD - Winter Black Student Forum Survey

"Calling all Black Students! Please fill out the attached survey in preparation for the Winter Quarter Black Student Forum, coming later this quarter.

This survey was created to gauge the overall health and well-being of Black Students at UCSB. Responses to this survey will not only help shape our community conversations at the Black Student Forum but will also help the OBSD better advocate for the needs of our Black Students.

Those who complete the survey will be entered into a raffle where 5 lucky students will be awarded a gift card for their participation."

EASA - Shai and Chill

"EASA will be having our first meeting of Winter quarter, Taste of East Africa: Shai & Chill☕️, next Thursday, January 26th from 6-8pm @ the AdCRC. Join us in an evening of music and games alongside a cup of buna or shai, and sambusa! Looking forward to getting the Tea while drinking Shai 😌 !"

BCM - Black Church Experience

Join the UCSB Black Campus Ministries on Wednesday the 25th at 7pm in IV Theater for BLACK CHURCH EXPERIENCE! Attend the event for worship, black community-inspired snacks, and an important message from Pastor Cornelius from Bethel Church of God in Christ.

OBSD - Black Men's Barbershop Series

"Our first Black Men's Barbershop Talk Series of Winter Quarter is happening this Thursday, Jan 26th from 5-7 pm in the OBSD office. For our Black male-identifying students this is a great opportunity for community building as we will be discussing the notion of Black masculinity. We'll also be serving food and have giveaways for each student in attendance. We hope to see you there!"
