GBM: Defining Our Politics
Join us for our third weekly GBM of the quarter TODAY October 17th at 5 PM in the Santa Rosa Lounge. This GBM will focus on exploring the ideologies, beliefs, and visions that shape our political identity. In this open discussion, we hope every voice will be heard, and that together we can create a brighter future.

Sister Circle
Join us every Tuesday from 1 - 2 PM in the AdCRC located in the SRB to take part in Sister Circle, a support group for black-identifying womxn students led by Dr. Tara Jones and Dominique A Broussard. Swing by and grab a slice of pizza all while receiving holistic support in all things emotional, academic, and financial-based discussion topics.

Celebration of Black Gaucho Family Weekend
Save the date for November 4th for the Celebration of Black Gaucho Family Day weekend from 12 - 4 PM held in the Student Resource Building! Enjoy a day of community bounding in the presence of both Black Gauchos and family members alike!

AdCRC X BGSA Study Jam
Join the education opportunity program’s African diasporic cultural resource center in collaboration with the Black Graduate Student Association for the 2nd study jam of the new school year! From 6 - 8 PM, hang out with other students, and grab some snacks and free testing materials!

OBSD
Black Heritage Cultural Experience
Join OBSD, CAPS, and EOP for a trip of a lifetime! Open to all students of all grade levels, embark on a 10-day experience visiting sacred historic spaces in the South during Spring break of 2024. Funding will be available for all students, and applications close on October 20th!

EOP
AS/EOP Grant
Attention EOP Students! Did you know that there is a grant that helps to cover irregular or unforeseen expenses? To be eligible you must be (1) an EOP student; (2) enrolled at least half-time; (3) eligible for need-based financial aid. If you’re eligible, we highly recommend applying for the grant as a way to help alleviate some of the financial stress you may be under.
