Happy Week 7 BSU Family! Spring Quarter is flying by! Keep on grinding it out for the next few weeks 🤎. There are so many fun events coming up, and we are so excited for you to experience them! Please read below for Week 7 updates and more.

Black Student Union News

Week 7 GBM  

Join us TOMORROW from 5-7 PM in the Santa Rosa lounge for a red table talk! You will get the chance to voice your opinion on Black popular and professional culture. Get ready for a night of tea spilling, hot takes, debates, and more! 

OBSD: Black n Crafty 

Black n Crafty will be hosted TODAY and every following MONDAY at the OBSD from 4-5 PM. If you're looking for a place to wind down while enjoying great company, you should consider attending! It is open to all Black students looking to create any craft of their choice.

Melanin Gala Tickets

With Melanin Gala approaching fast, be sure to buy your tickets for the dance! Wave 3 tickets are now on sale for $7! Use the link below to purchase your tickets.

Melanin Court  

TODAY is the last day to send in your application for the Melanin Royal Court so be sure to get those in! Use the link below to fill out the interest form! 

BSU Yearbook Sign-Ups

Are you interested in having your picture in the first-ever volume of BSU's yearbook? If so, you still have the chance to get your picture taken on either Tuesday, May 16th from 3 - 5 PM, or on Friday, May 19th from 3 - 5 PM at the Annex! Use the link below to secure a slot! ALSO, if you are a part of any Black organizations on campus, and you would like to have pictures of events during this past year highlighted in the yearbook, please submit your pictures to the submission link below.

BSU 2023-2024 Board Elections

Attention Black students! In order to vote for the people that you want to represent the Black student body on next year's BSU Board, you must fill out the ballot recipient interest form. You will be sent a ballot via email, and will have a week to complete it!

Black Block Party

If you're looking for a great way to experience, embrace, and honor black culture, join BSU on Saturday, May 27th for the Black Block Party from 1 - 6 PM! Vendor and Performer applications close TODAY at 11:59 PM, so if you'd like to showcase your talent or business fill out the form below!

Black Queer Prom

Join Black Women's Health Collaborative in collaboration with RCSGD on Saturday, May 20th for a Black Queer Prom! Enjoy a night of great music and amazing vibes at the Hub from 7 PM to 12 AM, and if you're a graduating senior you'll have the chance to receive a graduation gift! Please fill out the form below if you plan to attend, and if you'd like to receive a gift!
