GBM: Unity in the Community
Join us for our second weekly GBM of the quarter TODAY October 10th at 5 p.m. in the Santa Rosa Lounge. This GBM is all about strengthening our bonds as a community and coming together to create positive change for our campus. Don’t miss out on the chance to connect with and hear from one another!

RnB Study Jam
Join BSU in collaboration with EOP’s ADCRC for a study jam this Wednesday, October 11th from 6 - 8 PM in the ADCRC! Come study, listen to music, and enjoy snacks plus free test materials!

Beginner-Friendly Dance Workshop
In collaboration with OBSD, join Jaz, our Co-Membership Development Coordinator for a hip-hop workshop with heels, in the SRB at 5 PM this Friday, October 13th! No previous experience is necessary, and you should expect to dance in socks or barefoot. Meet in front of the SRB at 4:45 PM.

Black Heritage Cultural Experience
Join OBSD, CAPS, and EOP for a trip of a lifetime! Open to all students of all grade levels, embark on a 10-day experience visiting sacred historic spaces in the South during Spring break of 2024. Funding will be available for all students, and applications close on October 20th!

Attention STEM majors! If you are in need of course materials for your STEM classes, you can borrow books and other course materials from OBSD’s library! Just scan the QR code below!

CAPS
Graduate Support Group
If you are a Graduate Student of the African Diaspora, CAPS has put together a support space intended to relieve stress, maintain encouragement, celebrate success, and more! Meetings will be held during weeks: 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 in the Main CAPS Building on Mondays from 4 - 5:30 PM. No prescreen or registration is required to attend.

EOP
AS/EOP Grant
Attention EOP Students! Did you know that there is a grant that helps to cover irregular or unforeseen expenses? To be eligible you must be (1) an EOP student; (2) enrolled at least half-time; (3) eligible for need-based financial aid. If you’re eligible, we highly recommend applying for the grant as a way to help alleviate some of the financial stress you may be under. Save the date for an exciting weekend filled with celebration! November 4th marks the start of the Black Gaucho Family Weekend!
